Where can people, who cast a critical look at society's problems, be involved in actual engagement? To what extent does the concern with humanitarian topics prove fruitful for science? unicum:mensch wants to build a bridge between academic research and social engagement. - unicum:mensch builds a network of its members and their fields of expertise to effect more publicity for humanitarian concerns and for mutual support
- unicum:mensch organises courses on poverty together with the Centre for Poverty Research at Salzburg University
- unicum:mensch organises seminars and events about humanitarian topics in cooperation with universities and societies
- unicum:mensch coordinates research that is geared towards a culture of humanity, particularly in the field of poverty research
- unicum:mensch supports real projects (tsunami in Asia, Sozialroutenplanerin, a school project in India)
